Idag har vi äntligen fått lite värme. Termometern har varit runt 25 gr och den kalla sydliga vinden har bytts mot en varm och behaglig nordan. Jo jag skrev rätt. Nordan värms upp när den far fram över det Portugisiska inlandet medan den sydliga vinden kyls av av det svala Atlantvattnet. Vi är en bit från Golfströmmen vilket märks, vattnet blir väldigt sällan över 22-23 gr här.
I eftermiddags hade vi ganska så kraftiga vindar och nu i skymningen hår både sol och vind till vila. Ett mycket rofyllt lugn sprider sig över ankarviken. Himmelen i väster har en härlig lyster av blått och orange. Inget dis, så vi ser ända bort till Sagres. Belysningen är från Lagos men ute till vänster i bilden ser ni en liten ljuspunkt. Det är fyren Cabo Sao Vicente.

Today, we finally got a little heat. The thermometer has been around 25 C and the cold southerly wind has been replaced with a warm and comfortable north.  I did write right. Nordan heats up when it flys  over  the Portuguese hinterland, while the south wind is cooled by the cool Atlantic waters. We are quite a distance from the Gulf Stream, which is evident, the water not becomes very often over 22-23 C here.

This afternoon we had quite strong winds and now in the twilight has both sun and wind gone to rest. A very peaceful calm spreads over the anchorage. The sky to the west has a lovely sheen of blue and orange. No haze, so we see all the way to Sagres. The lighting is from Lagos but looking to the left in the picture you can see a small bright spot. It is the lighthouse of Cabo Sao Vicente.
